Accessibility Statement
Kidstruecare Learning Center Inc. ("Kids True Care", "we", "us", or "our")
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
We support children with disabilities and their families. Making our own services and information accessible is part of that commitment, not an afterthought.
Kidstruecare Learning Center Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, and to the dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity principles they set out.
Accessible Customer Service
- We welcome people with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person or a service animal.
- We communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take their disability into account, and we will ask rather than assume what works best.
- If a disruption affects a service or facility that people with disabilities rely on, we will give notice of the reason, the expected duration, and any alternatives available.
- Staff are trained on accessible service as part of onboarding, including how to interact with people using assistive devices.
This Website
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this site. Work already in place includes:
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate structurally.
- Keyboard access to all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Colour combinations chosen to meet contrast minimums.
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels, hints, and error messages.
- Responsive layouts that reflow for zoom and small screens.
Accessibility is not a one-time exercise. We test as we build, and we treat accessibility defects as bugs. Two areas we know depend partly on others: the Calendly scheduling widget is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not fully control, and some downloadable documents may not yet be fully tagged. If either blocks you, contact us and we will complete the task with you directly, by phone or in person.
Accessible Formats and Communication Supports
On request, we will provide our information — including this website's content, intake documents, and service information — in an accessible format or with communication support, at no additional cost beyond what anyone else pays. We will consult with you about which format works, and provide it in a timely way.
Feedback
We want to hear when something does not work. Tell us about an accessibility barrier on this site, in our materials, or in our services, and we will respond and explain what we intend to do about it. Feedback can be given in whatever way is easiest for you:
- Email: contactus@kidstruecare.com
- Phone: +1 (647) 770-4285
- In person or verbally, with any member of our team.
